What kind of options are available?
We can customise your boat with virtually any option that you can come up with. Popular options include navigation aids and other electronics including chart plotters and fish-finders; toilets and black water tanks; high-end entertainment systems; a third pontoon; lifting strakes to help get the boat on the plane faster; additional engines; additional fuel tanks; lights; covers; biminis; clears and hard tops. If you want it we can supply it.
Can I choose the engine or engines on my Australis pontoon boat?
Suzuki are our trusted partner for power units on new boats but if you have a preference for Mercury, Yamaha or any other outboard manufacturer then we can work with you to get the power solution that best suits you.
How many engines should my boat have?
This comes down to personal preference, the size of the boat and the kind of thing that you’re going to use it for. A boat that’s going to be used for towing a wakeboarder is going to have a different power requirement to a boat that’s going to be used for gentle cruising up the river. Talk to us about what you’re going to use the boat for an we can help you make decisions about how to power it.
Can you supply a trailer for my pontoon boat?
Yes. We can supply purpose-made galvanised trailers.
Where are Australis boats made?
The component parts of our pontoon boats are made in China then shipped to Western Australia for construction. We hand-build every one of our boats, marinising them to ensure that they’ll stand up to the saltwater environment and harsh WA weather conditions. Every boat is built to the highest Federal government standards. We also offer the option to build commercial pontoon boats to Australian Maritime Safety Authority survey code.
What are your payment terms?
We require a deposit equivalent to 30% of the total cost of the boat as ordered with the balance paid on delivery.
What’s the lead time for delivery of my new boat?
If we don’t have your boat in stock then the average time from placing a deposit to taking delivery of your new boat is around 26 weeks. We will endeavour to give you a more specific delivery date once the exact details of your boat are agreed upon.
